One of rock and roll’s icons is coming to St. Paul in 2023. Bruce Springsteen will play the Xcel Energy Center on March 5, his first show in Minnesota since 2016.

Tickets will go on sale to the public July 21 (you have to register early via Ticketmaster), but prices have not been given yet.

Springsteen’s 2023 tour launches in Tampa next February and will travel through 30 cities over 2 ½ months (31 shows total with two in his home state of New Jersey’s Belmont Park). He will also be doing a European tour which led to speculation he’d be hitting the states again too.

The 72-year old Springsteen, while not touring with his live band, has still been working. He produced “Springsteen on Broadway”, a one-man show from 2017-2021 where he plays songs with just an acoustic guitar while telling stories, jokes and talking about his rise to superstardom.  Springsteen's wife, Patti Scialfa, also appeared at most shows.

In 2018, Springsteen received a special Tony Award for Springsteen on Broadway.
