St. Paul Police believe they know who cut down a number of trees in an area that's been vandalized in the past.
They posted an image of the person on social media and are asking for help from the public.
The St. Paul Parks Conservancy has announced a $5,000 reward for information into the vandalism at Lower Landing Park along Shepard Road.
It was in late 2024 when about sixty trees in that grassy area between the roadway and the Mississippi River were damaged.
Estimated cost of that act of vandalism was about $40,000.
That area was targeted twice more that year.
St. Paul Parks and Recreation reports that nearly two-dozen planted trees were recently damaged in that same area, six of them recently planted.
