The fence is gone, and later this week, the Minnesota State Capitol will reopen to the public.

The Minnesota Department of Administration announced that the Capitol will be open to the public beginning Thursday. The building will be open weekdays from 8am to 5pm, with weekend hours coming at a later time.

The Minnesota Capitol building closed to the public in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
