A man wanted for attempted murder is on the loose after police say he shot another man in Mounds View early this morning.
Deputy Chief Ben Zender says officers responded to an apartment on the 5400 block of Landmark Circle for a 911 hang-up call just after 4:30 a.m.
He said officers found a man who had been shot, and the suspect had already left. That suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Tyler Van Coleman. He’s considered armed and dangerous.
The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. His condition is not known at this time.
