The Minnesota State Fair will return in 2021.

Fair officials announced that the annual "Great Minnesota Get-together" would return August 26th and run until September 6th.

The fair says they do not expect daily attendance limits. They also don't plan to require face masks on state fairgrounds. There will be hand sanitizer placed on the grounds. For a comprehensive look at the fair's cleaning plan, click here.

“Planning has been ongoing throughout the pandemic, but it still feels really good to say that the Great Minnesota Get-Back-Together is actually happening,” said General Manager Jerry Hammer. “We’re working hard to ensure a healthy and safe environment, so if you’re ready to get together later this summer, the fair will be here and ready to welcome you back.”

General admission tickets for the 2021 fair will be $13.
