2,178 cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health marking the state's third-highest 24-hour total since the pandemic began.
15 deaths were reported as well on Tuesday. 11 of the 15 deaths were individuals living in a private residence while four of the deaths were people living in long-term care facilities or assisted living settings.
11 of the 2,178 cases were probably cases.
2,353 people have died from COVID-19 in Minnesota and 2,710,177 COVID-19 tests have been processed since the start of the pandemic.
