St. Paul Police say two were hurt and three are in custody following a shooting near Grand Casino Arena in the city's downtown.
The call of shots fired on the 100 block of West Kellogg Boulevard came in around 5:30 p.m. and officers who arrived at the scene say they heard active gunfire in multiple areas.
Police tape went up at the intersection of West 7th and Kellogg, right in front of the hockey arena and not far from a large number of restaurants and night spots.
There was also a law enforcement presence at the Rivercentre parking ramp, and outside the Ordway Theatre.
Police say two young adult males were suffering from non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting.
The arrests came a short time after authorities secured the area. It's not known what led to the shooting.
