Judge Peter Cahill on Tuesday morning denied a state motion to restrict audio of four witnesses who were minors at the time of George Floyd's death. All four witnesses are expected to testify.
Judge Cahill's ruling did allow for the audio to be restricted for the four witnesses when the spell their names during testimony. The four witnesses will not be on video when testifying.
Tuesday marks day two of testimony in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd's death.
Chauvin is charged with unintentional 2nd degree murder, 3rd degree murder, and manslaughter.
