Two people are dead and a man is in custody after an overnight shooting in the northeast metro.
Police were called to a home just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in Lexington, Minnesota, about 20 miles northeast of Minneapolis.
When they arrived they found a woman who was deceased and a juvenile male who was gravely injured. He was taken to the hospital and later died according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Department.
A K-9 was brought in and tracked down a suspect, who was arrested and hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
The Sheriff's office says the incident was not random.
They're not saying what, if any, relationship the suspect had to the victims and so far, no ID's have been released.
