Two men are now facing charges after nearly 900 pounds of meth were seized in Minneapolis earlier this week.
44-year old Guillermo Chaparro and 46-year old Joel Casa Santiago have been charged with first degree drug sales after law enforcement seized a massive stockpile of methamphetamine, valued at $1.7 million.
Both are believed to be connected to a Mexican drug organization.
The bust followed an undercover purchase and subsequent tracking of the meth.
That led to the discovery of it in a Jeep and a pickup truck near 31st Street and Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis on Monday.
Each of them faces up to five years in prison.
