
Just before noon on Wednesday, two Hennepin County sheriff’s deputies were fired upon and shot while executing a search warrant in Minnetonka, police shared.
According to the sheriff’s office, the injuries the deputies suffered were “non-life-threatening,” though one was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
After the shooting broke out, multiple law enforcement agencies responded, offering help to the deputies.
The scene is active at this time, but there is no threat to the public.
The sheriff’s office did not provide an update on the suspect but did note that the investigation remains ongoing.
