A member of the Aryan Freedom Network, a white supremacist organization, is going to prison for 8.5 years.

41-year old Andrew David Munsinger was found guilty of being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition, plus possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Law enforcement seized a total of five firearms, over 500 rounds and casings of ammunition, a bullet-resistant vest, multiple high-capacity magazines, and a rifle scope. He was also recorded while admitting on more than one occasion that he knew he could not legally possess a firearm.

They also seized over five pounds of marijuana and more than $24,000 in cash.

“The safety and security of Minnesotans is of the upmost importance to my office. We will ensure Munsinger—and all others who bring violence and drugs to Minnesota—sees federal justice,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick back in April. “We are grateful to the FBI for their work on this investigation.”

This case is the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI and the Joint Terrorism Task Force.
