A St. Paul woman has been charged in Ramsey County Court with Criminal Vehicular Homicide after a crash that killed her one-year old child Saturday evening.
Investigators say 28-year old Rachel Peloquin was driving onto the exit ramp to southbound Highway 61 from Highway 36. They say the vehicle rolled, landing upside down in a ditch in about two-feet of water.
The little boy was found under the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The charges say she was driving drunk when she crashed.
Peloquin's 5 and 6-year old sons, plus a 32-year old man, also were injured in the crash. All three were reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
