An officer involved shooting in St. Paul has left a suspect dead.
Officers were called to a home in the 11-hundred block of Rose Avenue , near Frank Street on the city's east side around 7:30 p.m. Monday on a report of a suicide in progress.
Investigators says a woman inside the home waved a gun at officers, and that at some point shots rang out.
The woman died at the scene.
Details as to who fired the first shot and what exactly transpired are not yet known.
No officers were injured.
The BCA has been called in to investigate, which is standard procedure on officer-involved shootings.
