With the Minnesota Twins having 61 years of history, there have been several variations of the Twins uniform. But which one is the best ever?

Along with new members of the organization, this season came a new lineup of jerseys and designs that have been on display in the first 12 games of the season.

The Twins decided to shake up the iconic “TC” logo, bringing back the classic “M” with a new twist. Among other returning themes were the gray pinstripe uniforms worn throughout several iconic Twins games.

However, what are the best jerseys the team has ever had?

News Talk 830 WCCO listeners shared their favorite jerseys on social media on Wednesday afternoon.

Among the top responses were the team’s “baby blues,” the new Twin Cities, and even the “1959 Senators.”

To celebrate the past and the present, here’s a list of the three best jerseys the franchise has ever had, in no particular order:

The cream “Twin Cities” jerseys

Call me a fair-weather fan of jerseys all you want, but I find this to be not only the best of the bunch when it comes to the club’s new jerseys, but I also think it is one of if not the best jerseys the team has had.

While the cream color can sometimes go wrong, like with the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks’ “Cream City” jerseys from a few seasons ago, the Twins hit this jersey out of the park — pun intended.

The font on the jersey is a shake-up from other teams and what the Twins have had before; the single stripe down the leg of the pants makes them extremely appealing; and overall they might be the only jersey worth the cost.

These are nothing short of classy. I understand that vertical stripes are supposed to make you look thinner, but all these jerseys do is make you look like a World Series Champion.

The classic pinstripe look has inspired the 2023 version of the iconic Minnesota jersey, but nothing beats that old school font and layout.

I think if you do pinstripes in another color, let’s say white, you could risk looking pretty ugly — this is a dig at the Yankees, I’m aware the Twins wore white pinstripes. But pinstripes in gray, and you’ll for sure look like you’re about to beat the Braves in seven.

Is there much that needs to be said about these? If I think of a ballpark on a sunny day, I imagine a hot dog in one hand, a Killebrew root beer in the other, and the Twins on the field in one of the best jerseys man has ever made.

There’s a reason the Twins have gone back to the iconic baby blue jersey so many times. The jersey looks amazing, even when the team doesn’t play well.
