One of the more successful quarterbacks in Vikings history has died.

Joe Kapp passed away Monday following a battle with Alzheimer's.

He is the only quarterback to lead teams to the Rose Bowl, the Grey Cup, and the Super Bowl, taking the Vikings to the NFL's title game after a 12-win season in 1969.

Kapp played nine season in the Canadian Football League before a three-year stint with the Vikings.

He also was a movie actor, portraying one of the football-playing prison guards in the 1974 film "The Longest Yard."
