For the ninth time ever, the Vikings will start their NFL regular season with a border-battle matchup against arch-rival Green Bay.
The Sept. 13 game at US Bank Stadium is also just the third time the Packers have opened the season in Minneapolis.
The Vikings-Packers opener is in the late slot on the first Sunday of the 2026 season.
It's also the first of back-to-back games for the Vikings against an NFC Central rival. They play the Bears in Chicago Sept. 20 in a noon start.
The Vikings' 2026 schedule includes a Monday night game against the Bills in their new stadium the night of Nov. 9. Two weeks later, the Vikings take on the 49ers in Mexico City.
They play at Green Bay on Nov. 15, and home against the Bears in the last game of the season at US Bank Stadium on the second weekend of the New Year.
Game times for all NFL season finales are flexed.
The Vikings play the Lions Nov. 1 at Detroit and on Sunday night Dec. 20.
