According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a bomb squad was sent to a postal facility at Gage and Central avenues in South Los Angeles Wednesday, based on a report of a bomb threat.
Evacuations are in progress and traffic is being routed away from the area.
BREAKING: An employee at the main USPS office in LA tells me they have all been evacuated and that police are inside “looking for something”.
