A brawl broke out at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Wednesday after three women were kicked off a plane for not wearing masks and were mocked by other passengers in the terminal, according to a report.
The women were kicked off American Airlines flight 2558 to Chicago for failing to follow social hygiene orders, according to WSVN.
Another passenger captured the fight that has since gone viral. The video shows the women being escorted off the flight and a gate area full of travelers booing before the attack ensued.
A Broward Sheriff's deputy is seen pulling one of the women away as another anti-masker who lay sprawled out on the floor of the terminal.
One traveler was shocked after watching the melee unfold in front of them.
“Fighting for what? What are you fighting over?” the passenger, who identified himself as "Paul", told WSVN-TV.
No arrests were made after the fight.
In January, the Transportation Security Administration began enforcing President Joe Biden’s order requiring face masks on public transportation as well as air travel. Violators could be fined up to $250 the first time and $1,500 for repeat offenses.
