As they enter adulthood, every man is faced with a life altering question; should they grow a beard or not?

While some prefer the clean face look, others attempt to change their appearance with differing styles, shapes and sizes of beards. While every man is different, the question of whether to grow a beard or not is something that has been debated for years.

Now, a doctor has handed a victory to team beard, claiming growing a beard is better for men’s health.

Dr. Karan Rangarjan has become known for his viral videos describing a number of scientific topics from “why dogs like to sniff people’s crotches” to “how and why humans can only see 0.0035% of reality.” However, his latest video to go viral has created quite the debate online. According to Dr. Rangarjan, having a beard helps protect men from certain ailments.

“A study comparing hospital workers with and without beards found that clean shaven faces were three times more likely to carry MRSA,” said the viral doctor. He also claimed beards can help protect the skin in that area, according to Bro Bible. Thanks to Dr. Rangarjan more men may switch to team beard.
