A man was arrested in Orlando, Florida, after walking into a CVS drugstore with a handwritten note saying it was an armed robbery and that he was demanding “all bottles” of oxycodone, hydrocodone, Xanax, Adderall, liquid codeine, and Viagra.
“This is a armed robbery!” he wrote in the note. “Please cooperate, I don’t want to hurt you. You are not to alarm anybody or I will shoot the closest person to me!”
The Orlando Police Department shared a picture of the note on social media, noting that the man was 23 years old.
Police were eventually notified by the pharmacy of the robbery. They were then able to apprehend the man with dozens of bottles of pills and the note after a short foot pursuit.
The man is now facing several robbery, trafficking, and possession charges for the robbery.
The suspect allegedly traveled from Jacksonville to Orlando to steal the narcotics and later confessed to carrying out a similar robbery in Central Florida.
