A Pennsylvania man was hit with several charges after he was caught by police putting stickers of Joe Biden pointing and saying “I did that” on gas pumps in protest of the recent rise in fuel prices.
Thomas Richard Glazewski, 54, was charged with several offenses on April 4 for the incident that took place on March 31, according to reports from Lancaster Online.
Video of the incident, recorded by Aaron Philips, went viral on Facebook. Philips shared in his post more on what led to the altercation.
“This guy stuck stickers on a gas pump, got yelled at by a clerk for doing so and went crazy afterwards,” Philips wrote.
In the video, Glazewski could be heard yelling “F*** you” at the police while waving his arms around, running to the pump, and saying, “I did that! That’s what I did!”
Police chased him as he ran across the gas station parking lot, tackling and handcuffing him. However, being placed in cuffs wasn’t enough as he continued to flail about while officers tried to put him in the back of a squad car.
Glazewski isn’t the first person to put the Biden decals on a gas pump, as the trend has circulated around social media since gas prices began rising in February.
Several news outlets have shared stories about the Biden “I did that!” stickers, including the New York Post, which found them across New York.
One Alabama gas station manager shared with WAAYTV that they have to remove up to six of the stickers from his pumps a day.
Amazon sells the stickers online for packs of 100.
After going viral and still paying the same amount for his gas despite his stickers, Glazewski has been charged with resisting arrest, harassment, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct, Lancaster Online reported.
