A 77-year-old Florida man could face hard time after authorities say he illegally bought more than $1,800 in erectile dysfunction drugs with the intent to sell them to neighbors in his retirement community.

Reginald Odell Kincer was arrested last month in The Villages, a massive retirement community spread through three counties in central Florida with more than 80,000 fulltime residents.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida, Kincer received 1,881 pharmaceutical erectile dysfunction drugs that had been shipped through interstate commerce.

The drugs were "misbranded" because Kincer obtained them without a prescription from a licensed doctor, the office said.

The drugs included Snovitra-20, Vilitra 20, Cenforce 100, Vidalista 20, Tadalafil Tablets 20, Kamini Sildenafil Oral Jelly, Kamagra Oral Jelly, and Vardenafil, all intended to treat erectile dysfunction, according to the charging document.

Federal authorities allege that Kincer had planned to redistribute the drugs to others locally and outside the State of Florida.

Kincer is charged with receipt of misbranded drugs in interstate commerce. While he pleaded not guilty, he could face a year in federal prison and a fine of $10,000 if convicted.
