A man walking his bicycle was fatally struck by a freight train on the edge of Minnetonka park, authorities said. The man was walking along the tracks when the train hit him, the Star Tribune reported.
According to police, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. Monday on a rail bridge near Big Willow Park.
The man was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders. The man’s identity has not yet been released to the public.
