NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Joe Biden on Friday met with U.S. troops stationed in Poland --- just 60 miles from the border with Ukraine -- and hammed it up with them, cracking jokes, taking selfies -- and joining them for lunch, which consisted of pepperoni-and-jalapeno pizza.
Biden met with the troops of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division at the G2A Arena in Rzeszow. "You are the finest fighting force in the world and that’s not hyperbole," he told the camouflage-clad soldiers, who are serving alongside their Polish peers.

"Who brought the pizza" Biden asked the troops sitting in the venue's cafeteria. "Don’t stop eating because of me.”
He added, "Well, if you’re starting to eat, I’m going to sit down and have something."

Biden will be in Warsaw on Saturday to meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda and other officials.
