From the files of 'why didn't this already exist?' Taco Bell is adding an item to its breakfast menu: breakfast tacos.

The breakfast tacos will be a part of the menu for the first time starting on October 12. The tacos, which include egg and cheese, with the choice to add bacon, sausage, or potato, all wrapped up in a tortilla, will be sold for $1.49.

Taco Bell has seen a spike in its morning sales, almost 9% since it first began hammering home that the chain sells breakfast items through a series of ads that included the likes of comedian Pete Davidson.

The company has praised the ad campaign and Davidson for the turnaround, and now he will be back to spotlight the new items later this month. The company teased that he will have a “hot take on the most important meal of the day.”

Taco Bell also announced that it will celebrate National Taco Day by bringing back its Taco Lover’s Pass subscription program for two days. Customers can buy a pass for $10 that gives them one free taco for the next month, breakfast tacos included.

The program is available for subscription on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week only.
