A tattoo removal studio in London is offering a special deal for fans of Kanye West who would like to remove tattoos they have of him. The move comes as the artist continues to promote antisemitism.

West’s latest viral moment happened when he spoke on the controversial right-wing show Info Wars with host Alex Jones. In his appearance, West openly praised Adolf Hitler as he maintained that he did some good things.

Because of this, NAAMA, a London-based tattoo removal studio, shared on its social media that it would offer free removal for former fans, now regretting their choices.

Briony Garbett, the CEO of NAAMA, shared in an email to CNN that the Kanye West tattoo removal initiative has received “global interest and a great response.”

“It seems there are a few former fans with tattoo regret,” he added.

Garbett shared that three clients have started the process of removing the tattoos of the artist, and 10 more are waiting to begin.

“When you have a tattoo inspired by someone you admire, and they start making headlines for all the wrong reasons, it’s not exactly something you want to wear on your sleeve that you are or were a fan,” Garbett said. “With that in mind, we wanted to come to the aid of those who are embarrassed about their Kanye West-inspired tattoos and are offering complimentary treatment for all UK fans that want them removed.”

The program is a part of the studio’s existing “Second Chances” project that provides free laser tattoo removal for clients with gang affiliated, hate symbols, or other traumatic tattoos.

Under the Kanye West Initiative, people will now be able to remove potentially harmful tattoos, as Garbett shared that one of his clients is getting his tattoo removed because of online bullying they are facing.

“We understand that tattoos can be triggering for some people, and not everyone can afford to remove their tattoos,” Garbett said.

Getting a tattoo removed involves using intense pulses of light to break up the ink on the skin. After the light therapy, the ink is then cleared away by the immune system, NAAMA shared on their website.

The free service is a big offer, as the cost would typically be around $2,500 or £2,000, depending on the tattoo itself.
