A Texas man has been arrested for allegedly attacking a couple, killing the wife, and shooting her husband, because they voted for President Biden, reports say.
The 38-year-old man, Joseph Angel Alvarez, had ranted about satanic rituals and abortion in emails before the incident occurred, The New York Post reported.

He claimed that he targeted Georgette and Daniel Kauffman partly because they flew a Biden flag in their yard and had a “doll of Trump,” KDBC reported.
Georgette Kauffman’s body was discovered inside her garage, and Daniel Kauffman told KDBC that he was shot five times.
He went on to say that he managed to crawl out of his home and to a neighbor’s house for help.
Alvarez allegedly targeted the couple on Nov. 14, 2020, shortly after the election, at their home in El Paso.
A year later, Alvarez was arrested on Sept. 8.

Investigators had uncovered emails allegedly sent by Alvarez discussing his extremist religious beliefs. Alvarez shared that he is “pro-choice” and identifies with the “Jewish Satanist Party.” He claimed that abortions were “Jewish child sacrifice.”
Another email that Alvarez allegedly sent to the 902D Military Intelligence group included claims he targeted Kaufman’s home near Memorial Park, stating he did it because they voted for Biden.
