The Mega Millions jackpot has now grown to the fifth largest in the game’s history, as one lucky winner could take home the $820 million prize in the next drawing.
Friday’s winning numbers were 29, 40, 47, 50, 57, and gold Mega Ball 25. The next drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25.
The jackpot has continued to grow since April 18, the last time someone won the grand prize, meaning there have been 27 consecutive drawings without a victor.
The lump sum cash option for the jackpot is an estimated $422 million before taxes. Winners can also choose to have the money paid out over 30 years.
