During another Saturday rally, former President Donald Trump took aim at Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp for not taking efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Trump offered his support for Kemp’s primary challenger in Commerce, Georgia, after helping Kemp win his seat in 2018.

“Brian Kemp is a turncoat, a coward, and a complete and total disaster,” Trump said.

Now Trump is supporting former Senator David Perdue, who is set to face off against Kemp on May 24 in the primary before the midterm elections, as he thinks Kemp is a RINO.

Trump has not held back during his rallies as of late, calling out several members of the Republican party for being “RINOs” or “Republicans in name only.”

“Before we can defeat the Democrats, socialists, and communists … we first have to defeat the RINO sellouts and the losers in the primaries this spring,” Trump said.

Trump turned on Kemp, and several other Republican lawmakers, after the 2020 election when he did not stand by the former president’s claims that the election was victim to widespread voter fraud.

Trump lost the state of Georgia in the election and was the first GOP presidential candidate to do so in 28 years, but Kemp refused to call a special session and overturn the result, much to the chagrin of the 45th president.

“I endorsed Brian Kemp, unfortunately, in 2018 — I feel so badly, but look, you can’t have them all. He was losing, I endorsed him, and he won big, how about that? And he wouldn’t do a damn thing about the election fraud,” Trump said.

Georgia’s votes were certified following three recounts, including one done partially by hand, and all verified Biden’s victory in the state.

Now, Trump says that after they “picked Kemp,” they have to “get Kemp out.”

But Trump’s words may be just that, as a Fox News poll showed that Perdue is trailing Kemp 39% to 50%. If those numbers stay, the same Kemp will win outright, eliminating the need for a runoff.

During the speech, Trump warned that his supporters would not support Kemp if his name is on the ballot in November when he faces off against likely Democratic nominee and forearm Georgia House member Stacey Abrams.

“Trump voters … will not go out and vote for Kemp. They’re not going to vote,” Trump said.

He continued dropping Stacey’s name, saying she would win the election and not Kemp if the two faced off.

“If Brian Kemp is re-nominated, he will go down in flames at the ballot box because Stacey will steal it from him and humiliate him,” Trump said.

In classic fashion, Trump also teased a run for the 2024 election, but he did not verify that he would be on the ballot, leaving his supporters guessing.

“The truth is I ran twice, I won twice, and I just did better the second time. And now, we just might have to do it again,” Trump said.
