Former President Trump is looking to rival the great Michael Jordan and Phil Knight, announcing on Saturday a signature sneaker priced at $400.

The “Never Surrender” sneakers were launched at Philadelphia’s Sneaker Con event on Saturday as the former president looked to dip his toes into the sneaker market.

Trump shared during a speech at the event that his line of tennis shoes will be called Trump Sneakers, offering another facet of merchandise to his supporters.

The current shoes available in the line include a gold-colored high-top with the letter “T” on the side and a mid-top model that comes in two colors, red and white and are laceless.

The high-tops will be priced starting at $399, and the mids will start at $199.

“This is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years,” Trump said on Saturday. “And I think it’s going be a big success. Your influences have been very positive. They’ve been real influences, and they love it, and they love what we’ve done.”

According to the website, neither of the shoes are connected to Trump’s presidential campaign or organization.

While Trump and his supporters may be on board for the new kicks, not everyone else is, as the Biden campaign’s communication director, Michael Tyler, shared a mocking remark after they were unveiled.

“Donald Trump showing up to hawk bootleg Off-Whites is the closest he’ll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life,” Tyler said.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), who was responsible for launching the Congressional Sneaker Caucus, also shared his thoughts on the shoes, saying he wouldn’t be picking up a pair.

“While I welcome all new members to the bipartisan sneaker caucus these sneakers are a hard pass for me,” Moskowitz wrote on X.
