The Minnesota Twins will get some star power back this week as Royce Lewis has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list and returned from his rehab assignment.

As part of the roster move, the Twins will option Edouard Julien to the team’s Triple-A club in St. Paul.

Lewis, who turns 25 on Wednesday, played six games during his rehab assignment, going 4-for-23 with a double, walk, stolen base, and three runs scored for the Saints.

After suffering a quad strain in the first game of the season, Lewis has missed the Twins’ last 58 games. He was injured while running the bases in the third inning of the season opener after starting 2-for-2 with a home run and a single.

So far in his young career, Lewis has played 71 games, collecting 18 home runs and 58 RBI while hitting .313 with a .933 OPS.

Lewis can make his return as early as Tuesday when the Twins face off against the Yankees in New York at 6:05 p.m. CST.
