One person is dead after they were struck and killed by a Metro Transit bus early Wednesday morning in St. Paul.
The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. on Ford Parkway near the intersection with Macalaster Street. The METRO A Line bus was headed eastbound when it struck the pedestrian who was crossing the road.
He died at the scene.
The bus drive will be put on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
This crash comes three weeks after an 11-year-old boy was hit and killed by a Metro Transit bus in Brooklyn Park.
