It may be the weekend, but Minnesotans are headed to early polling places to cast ballots ahead of Tuesday's election.
There was a little bit of a glitch early Saturday when the secretary of state's website that tracks the status of all absentee ballots went down for a short time before tech crews have restored service.
Officials say the outage did not stop anyone from early voting today, while poll workers had to enter important information by hand until "Track Your Vote" was back up.
That information is that a ballot was accepted and will be counted.
Nearly 1.6 million ballots have been sent in to the Minnesota secretary of state's office.
Processing of the ballots began last week but tabulation won't start until election day.
