Minneapolis police made close to 20 arrests on Tuesday evening following protestors gathering in Uptown Minneapolis.

As reported by Fox9, according to police large groups of people were gathering in the area of Lake Street and Lyndale before they began to march down the road.

While marching down the road, police said that they were blocking traffic, shooting off large fireworks and spray painted the exterior of businesses as they marched by them. They were also reportedly throwing objects and traffic signs into the road.

Police suspect that fires they have seen were set by the group.

Shop owners around the Uptown area were also seen boarding up their windows earlier in the week.
