Former Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton is no longer a bachelor, announcing his marriage over the weekend on Facebook.
The 73-year-old Dayton tied the knot with 32-year-old Ana Orke.
The couple reportedly became acquainted when she was working on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2008.
Orke then worked for Dayton 2010 campaign, and after losing touch, the two reconnected a few years later.
Dayton said that he knows the 41-year age difference will surprise many, and even surprised both of them.
This is the third marriage for Dayton.
He married Alida Ferry Rockefeller in 1978, and the two divorced in 1987 after the couple had two sons.
In 1996, Dayton married Janice Haarstick, and they divorced in 1999.
