All Lakeville Area schools and facilities are closed on Friday, May 21 until further notice due to what's being called by administrators an active threat under investigated by the Lakeville Police Department.
There are no other details on what the threat could be.
All staff are working remotely on Friday, and all students are participating in distance learning from home.
Parents of students who were on site early Friday morning were called to make arrangements to pick them up.
All Lakeville early childhood programs are canceled and the school office is closed until further notice.
