Officials are tight-lipped after the remainder of the season for the Proctor High School football team was cancelled.
School officials says it first learned of alleged serious misconduct last month.
After consultation with the Proctor Police Department and the Minnesota State High School League, it was determined that all football activity for grades 9 through 12 would end for the season.
Just what that misconduct was, or where it happened, has not been revealed by authorities, leaving speculation to run rampant on social media.

Proctor school administrators say action will be taken against the misconduct, and that they will also address problems within the football program.
Derek Parendo is the football team's coach and administrators say he remains on the school's staff.
The last time the Rails played was a 54-8 loss at Esko on Sept. 17, dropping their record to 0-3.
Their following weekend's game against Aitkin was forfeited.
Proctor had three more games scheduled starting next weekend.
