Minneapolis police have arrested a suspect in the Saturday morning shooting death of a man at Sixth and Hennepin in the city's downtown.

The 30-year-old man was booked on probable cause murder and remains in the Hennepin County adult detention center.

Officers arrived at the scene around 2:59 a.m. Saturday and found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim reportedly did not have a pulse and was not breathing, with paramedics taking him to HCMC.

He died at the hospital.

The MPD says it appears the two men got into a dispute that erupted into gunfire.

Officers arrived at the scene and immediately identified a suspect and made the arrest.

A firearm was recovered at the scene.

Names are not released.
