Snow emergencies go into in effect in both Minneapolis and St. Paul following Saturday's storm that left behind up to five inches of snow in parts of the Twin Cities.

The parking restrictions go into effect at 9:00 p.m. Sunday in both cities.

Starting then, there is no parking on either side of emergency routes in Minneapolis.

There is no parking along night plow routes in St Paul.

The snow emergency parking rules remain in effect for three days.
