One is dead following storms that ripped through Minnesota for a second straight night.
Most of the damage happened in the western part of the state, including the communities of Alberta and Alexandria, all the way to St. Cloud.
The fatality happened several miles west of the Kandiyohi County town of Blomkest.
A passenger in a car was killed when strong winds blew over a grain bin, which fell on top of the vehicle.
The winds were strong enough that several semi-trucks were knocked over while driving on Interstate 94 near Alexandria.
The winds uprooted trees, some of them falling onto buildings, and a number of homes were without power all night.
The national weather service has confirmed an EF-0 tornado on the northeast side of Coon Rapids on Wednesday night.
Officials say the storm was about 50 feet wide and was tracked for about three miles, with winds of around 80 miles per hour.
Also on Wednesday night, a storm chaser from Mexico killed in a crash in southwestern Minnesota was in the back seat of a car when it was struck by a semi, according to the still-hospitalized driver.
The car was stopped due to downed power lines on the road when it was hit and 30-year old Martha Rodriguez was killed.
The 26-year old semi driver was not hurt according to the state patrol.
