A public visitation for Congressman Jim Hagedorn is scheduled for Saturday morning.
It will be held from nine to noon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the town of Truman, located in southern Minnesota.
Hagedorn is originally from Blue Earth, where his father was once a US Congressman.
Family members say the funeral and burial for Hagedorn are private.
Hagedorn died February 17th and had been battling kidney cancer for nearly two years.
He was in his second term representing Minnesota's first congressional district.
