Minneapolis police are investigating a northside shooting that left one woman dead and a man in critical condition Monday night.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 700 block of West Broadway, near Merwin Liquors.
The unidentified woman in her 30's was pronounced dead on the scene, while the man was taken to North Memorial in a private vehicle.
Witnesses say the shooter ran from the scene.
There is no ID of the victim or the suspect.
Records show this is the 39th reported homicide of the year in Minneapolis.
