Another blow to the Timberwolves season, as reports indicate guard Malik Beasley will be suspended 12 games by the NBA.
Beasley pleaded guilty last month to felony charges he made armed threats against a family that was on a Parade of Homes tour last September by his home in Plymouth. Beasley was sentenced to 120 days in the workhouse at the conclusion of the NBA season.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Beasley issued a statement in which he apologizes to the fans, and promises to come back a better player and person.
Beasley, the best three-point shooter on the Timberwolves, is averaging more than 20 points per game. He is 40.6% from three-point range.
