On Tuesday's Drivetime with DeRusha...
3pm Hour: Jason talks with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey about his pick for police chief, along with violence in the metro, potential school closings in the city and much more. Then he talks about Six Flags closing a series of rollercoasters after a fatal accident - does that give you pause?
4pm Hour: last night the President at a rally told people to vote for Michele Tafoya - do listeners think that changes much? Then on DeRusha Eats Jason is joined by Brian Nation from O’Shaughnessy Distilling Co. to talk about their special event on Friday, October 16th to celebrate the launch of Keeper’s Heart Straight Rye Whiskey, from their Triple Pot Distilled American whiskey trilogy.
5pm Hour: Jason talks with Dr. Eric Anderson, a thoracic surgeon at Allina Health about the Pope's lung cancer surgery. How common was this diagnosis and what's the treatment? Then Jason wants to know why the people of Anoka are wedded to garbage freedom. Finally, are leagues like the NHL harming themselves by trying to find a viable broadcast model now that regional sports networks are gone?
