Audacy News: Appleton, MN set to open new ICE facility
The Appleton Minnesota City Council has finalized a deal with a for-profit prison company to offset costs of upcoming ICE facility, and secures $1.5 million upfront alongside $1.26 million annually to help fund local police, fire, and public works after the city stood to lose 30% of its tax revenue when Core Civic sold am empty prison to the federal government.
