Bills awaiting more tests on Bernard, Samuel

Linebacker Dorian Williams is also considered day-to-day

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - During Sunday's 34-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans at Highmark Stadium, the Buffalo Bills came out of the game relatively unscathed with only a few injury situations to monitor over the course of the week.

Both linebacker Terrel Bernard and wide receiver Curtis Samuel were declared out during the game due to injuries, while linebacker Dorian Williams left the game, was probable to return, but did not. Bernard left in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, while Samuel injured his shoulder on the second series of the game, and Williams suffered a knee injury.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Monday during his Zoom call with the media it's still too early to tell the severity of any of the players' injuries, or their availability for next Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.

"We'll see how they do," McDermott said. "Really no updates at this point. See how the week transpires with all three of those guys."

When asked if he would categorize any of them as day-to-day, McDermott said he thought that may be the case right now with Williams. They're "waiting for further evaluations" on both Bernard and Samuel.
