Linebacker Tyrel Dodson, wide receiver Tavon Austin, and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones all returned to action after missing the team's previous practice on Sunday.

Offensive tackle Tommy Doyle, who suffered a foot injury in Saturday's 27-24 preseason win over the Indianapolis Colts, once again did not participate.

There was another notable figure on hand as the team got back to work outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center. Hall of Fame defensive end Bruce Smith was not only there, but was seen working directly with some of the team's current defensive ends.

It was an excellent day for the quarterbacks and receivers. Both Gabriel Davis and Khalil Shakir made terrific catches in 1-on-1 drills, and against solid coverage on balls thrown by quarterbacks Josh Allen and Case Keenum.

Keenum also threaded a needle in 11-on-11 when he hit Shakir between two defenders and a third closing in.

Allen also found Davis a couple of times in the open field, and had a long strike to Stefon Diggs for a touchdown.

Micah Hyde stepped up for the defense when he intercepted an Allen pass that was a bit underthrown and into tight coverage. Hyde raced back the other way, and even though the whistle blew to stop the play, Allen still chased Hyde all the way back to his own end zone, where they both ultimately had a light-hearted laugh about it.

On the kicking front, punter Matt Haack was the only holder of the day for Tyler Bass on any of his field goal attempts.
