Bills sign 11 to reserve/future deals, re-sign pair of offensive depth players

All 11 players signed to reserve/future contracts were on the team's practice squad at some point in 2024

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Shortly after the conclusion of the 2024 season, the Buffalo Bills have announced the signing of 11 players to Reserve/Future contracts for the 2025 season.

All 11 of the players were on the team's practice squad, at some point, in 2024:

- CB - Te'Cory Couch
- CB - Daequan Hardy
- DT - Zion Logue
- DT - Branson Deen
- OL - Mike Edwards
- OL - Richard Gouraige
- RB - Frank Gore Jr.
- TE - Zach Davidson
- WR - K.J. Hamler
- WR - Tyrell Shavers
- WR - Jalen Virgil

These 11 signings add to a pair of Reserve/Future contract signings earlier this month. The Bills also signed tight end Armani Rogers and punter Jake Camarda to a Reserve/Future contract.

A Reserve/Future contract means that a player will be placed on the team's 90-man roster when the new league year begins in March.

The Bills also announced the re-signing of two offensive depth players.

Buffalo inked offensive lineman Ryan Van Demark to a new contract on Monday, as he was scheduled to become an Equal Rights Free Agent this offseason.

The 26-year-old played 14 games this past season for the Bills, making a pair of starts.

Then on Wednesday, the Bills announced the re-signing of quarterback Shane Buechele to a one-year contract. He was slated to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

Buechele has been with the Bills since the 2023 season after being waived by the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Buechele was lost for the 2024 season after suffering a neck injury early in the preseason.
