Kansas City, Mo. (610 Sports Radio/WGR 550) - Josh Allen is an immensely talented player, but Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills was further evidence that Patrick Mahomes is simply on another level.

Mahomes and the Chiefs beat the Bills in thrilling fashion for the third time in the last four postseasons. Buffalo just can’t get over the hump of beating Kansas City, and it’s impossible to dispute that Mahomes is anything other than a significant reason why.

Still, you’ll see the occasional defense of Allen, with Shaun O’Hara taking the cake on NFL Network by claiming that "regardless of the outcome, I'm taking Josh Allen every single time."

Carrington Harrison tore into the notion that Mahomes is comparable to Allen – or anyone else for that matter – during "The Drive" on Tuesday.

"Since Patrick Mahomes has entered the NFL, Patrick Mahomes has 13 playoff wins, he has two MVP trophies, he has three Super Bowl appearances and two championships," Harrison said. "Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson – combined – have 12 playoff wins, two MVPs, one appearance and have not won a championship. Please stop comparing the Chiefs quarterback to all these other mere mortals.

"Joe Burrow is a mortal, Lamar Jackson is a mortal, Josh Allen is a regular person. The Chiefs quarterback is an alien. He was specifically created by the football gods to terrorize the other 31 teams in the National Football League. Please stop comparing him to Josh Allen, who has one AFC Championship appearance, and this is the Chiefs’ sixth AFC Championship appearance. Please stop it."

Jackson very well might win MVP this season, so he will represent, perhaps, the biggest competition Mahomes will face this postseason when they face off in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday in Baltimore.
